Generators at some locations in Baghdad are non-operational; thus no A/C ---- we have a contact on the ground in Baghdad who works for the contractor that supplies and maintains these generators.

My son's "forum" will not allow me to get the word out that if other sons are suffering in this intolerable heat and taking risks because of it ---- to let me know. Now is the time!

My son's "location" has now had power for THREE DAYS! YEAH!

Super Mommy!!! Spoke with my son this morning at 2am. He is WITH your son @ "that location" and reports they have power. Army Mom's ROCK!

Since I haven't heard from DIL recently...I'm assuming (on no) that my dude is with your dudes and I hope he has power as well.

as my DH said - That's cool. I suppose the forum thinks that is OPSEC or just doesn't want to hear from all the family members.

I heard from my DIL and she said hubby (my son-duh! of course)sounded extremely tired and not a happy camper...very frustrated with the generator situation. He suppose to try to call me within 24 hours so my cell phone will be glued to my head!

Glad to see you're up and back. I've been busy back at work and remodeling. I hope you are doing great.
